Stevens Point Schools to Host Black History Month Celebration
The Stevens Point Area Public School District is honored to welcome Marc Young, Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions at UW-Milwaukee, and Emmitt James, musician and innovator, for a special evening of inspiration and storytelling. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ben Franklin Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
Featuring a dynamic keynote address and engaging spoken word and musical performances, the evening will recognize the contributions, achievements, and lasting impact of Black leaders, artists, and visionaries. Through powerful storytelling and artistic expression, this event will offer a meaningful opportunity for reflection, inspiration, and connection within our community.
